Do you need to book Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba tickets

You can get Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral tickets at the ticket booths in the Patio de Los Naranjos. However, queues are usually very long, especially in peak season.

For this reason, I highly recommend purchasing tickets online before your visit so that you can spend your precious time exploring the city instead.

You can book single-entry tickets on the Mosque-Cathedral’s official website or join a guided tour of the site. I highly recommend a guided tour as there’s so much intriguing history to this site that you’ll miss out on otherwise.

Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba tickets

Online

You can book tickets online through the official website (though it’s often not functioning in my experience) or from third-party sites.

I prefer booking directly with either Viator, Get Your Guide, or Tiqets as they usually offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your visit, even though they mostly charge a few Euros extra, I’ve got peace of mind in case travel plans change.

What I love about these sites is that you can download their app and have access to all of your tickets and tours offline. It’s super helpful for organizing your itinerary.

You’ll also get a push message on your phone reminding you of upcoming tours so that you won’t forget.

Types of Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral tickets

General entrance ticket

General tickets can be booked at the official website, at the ticket office on-site, or on a third-party site. These tickets don’t include audio guides or guides for your visit.

Audio guide tour

If you prefer visiting the Mosque-Cathedral at your own pace but would like to learn more about the history and architecture, you can opt for an individual audio guide tour.

This is a more affordable option than a guided tour and it allows you to take your time while learning about the site’s history.

Guided tours

Guided tours are the most popular option – and my favorite. You can choose between group tours, which are the most affordable, and private tours, which are more personalized and you certainly get a more one-on-one learning experience.

You can book your guided tours here:

Joint tickets

Joint tickets typically include a tour of the Mosque-Cathedral and one or more other attractions in Cordoba like the Alcazar or a city walking tour. These are great for you if you plan on seeing more of the city.

Here are the best joint Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba tickets:

Cordoba: Mosque-Cathedral, Alcazar & Synagogue with Tickets

This is a fantastic group tour taking you to Cordoba’s main attractions showcasing the three religions that co-existed in Cordoba in history, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian.

Tickets to the Mosque-Cathedral, the Alcazar de Los Reyes Cristianos, and the Synagogue are included as well as headphones to hear the guide clearly (this is so useful!)

On the tour, you’ll also pass the Roman Bridge and walk through the Jewish Quarter, which is one of the most charming and history-rich areas in Cordoba.

Private Visit Mosque-Cathedral, Jewish quarter, Alcazar and Synagogue

If you prefer a private tour of the city, this is a fabulous option that covers the Mosque-Cathedral tickets, Alcazar de Los Reyes Cristianos tickets, the Synagogue, and a tour through the Jewish Quarter as well as the picturesque Calleja de Las Flores.

This is an ideal tour for families or groups of friends or couples that want an intimate experience. I love private tours as I get a more personal connection to the guide and it’s easier to ask questions.

This tour includes hotel pickup from the hotels in the old town. It is easily one of the best tours in Cordoba Spain.

Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral and Jewish Quarter Walking Tour

This is a lovely joint walking tour through the Jewish Quarter and a tour of the Mosque-Cathedral. The guide will tell you more about the history of the Jewish Quarter as you pass the top tourist attractions in one of the most charming neighborhoods in Cordoba.

Besides, it’s a great tour of the Mosque-Cathedral where you learn all the intriguing history from the time the structure was built, how it changed hands between Christians and Muslims over the centuries, and even served as a place of worship for both Muslims and Christians at the same time.

Andalusia Pass

The Andalusia Pass gives access to several of the main attractions in Andalucia which is great if you’re planning a round trip of the region.

This is included in the pass:

  • Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba: Guided Tour
  • Royal Alcázar of Seville: Entry Ticket
  • Alhambra & Nasrid Palaces: Skip The Line Ticket
  • Audio-guided walking tours of Seville and Granada
The main altarpiece in the Mosque-Cathedral
